We will depart from Cusco very early in the morning in one of our vehicles. We will traverse beautiful valleys between the Andes Mountains and picturesque countryside communities.
We will eat breakfast very early and then take a walk, during which we will be able to observe the fauna of the forest, such as monkeys and birds. Then, we will visit a coca plantation and a wildlife rescue center.
Very early in the morning, we will board our boat and head to the Collpa de Guacamayos, a wall along the riverbank where different species of parrots, such as the blue-headed parrot, white-eyed parakeet, chestnut-fronted macaw.
Today, we will get a very early again to eat breakfast and take walks around our lodge and Lake Otorongo. There is an observation tower located 15 meters from the lake in order to allow us to appreciate the landscape.
